About twenty feet away, hidden in the shadows of the forest where some mysterious intruders. They werent close enough to hear any of the conversation between Aang, Katara, and Sokka, but they were keeping a close eye on them.

"What do you suppose they're doing out here in the middle of the woods?" said one.

"I'm not sure..." said the leader of the three.

"Maybe they are fire nation spies." said the third.

"Maybe..." said the leader suspiciously. "Lets keep a close eye on them..."

"Well?" said Katara.

"What?" snapped Sokka.

"Whats the message?"she explained.

"Oh....uh..."

"Dont tell me you forgot."

"No! I... just...just let me think."

"See this is why I question Yue's motives." Katara said with a sigh.

Katara and Aang watched Sokka as he racked his brain to remeber the message. "Oh yeah...The Air Temple."

"What?" asked Aang confused.

"You're supposed to travel to the air temple." sokka scratched his head "And she never did give me back my twinkie."

Katara and Aang both stared at Sokka with a sweat drop.

"Ooookay...anyways...thats all she told you, no explanation?" said Aang

"Well what did you expect from a goddess, she's supposed to be mysterious." explained Katara.

Aang absently stuck his hands in his pockets with a frown. As soon as he did though, he felt something metal. He pulled it out and found himself looking at two necklaces, one with the fire symbol and the other with the earth symbol.

Back in the trees the mysterious watchers were waiting for some sign that they were in league with the fire nation or just drifters.

"What is that the bald one has?"

"I think they are necklaces.."

"Hey! I think one of them has the fire symbol on it."

"Yeah it does...they must be in league with the fire nation."

"You may be wrong, but I really cant take that chance. Return to the town and round up the troops."

"Yes sir."

"What do you plan on doing?"

"We're gonna bring them in for questioning, the easy way....or the hard way."

"Sounds good. It's been a while since I've had a good fight."
